leaving on a jet plane

so da dates are sets
27th July 2007
will be leaving da land called home
am i sad?
am i excited?
rite now feeling so numb
reluctant to leave everything warm n familiar
but anxious too
for wats to come in da new land
can i leave behind wat i hold on so dear
n start over, fresh pages?
or will it still haunts n forever stay?
hurmmmn......
families coming tomorrow for goodbyes n safe journey
packing is pain-in-da-ass
glad dat it's finished
i'm ready to go
or am i?
